My friend is a F2 right now. She wants to bring her newborn back to China around August. My friend wants to apply for F-2 visa as soon as she arrives China (She has returned China for three times on F-2 visa). However, her husband has filed for H-1 and the H-1 will be effective from Oct 1, 2005. Therefore, when she comes back around the mid of October, she would have been on H-4 visa.

Will she have any problem in the US customs? Can she entry with a F-2 visa STAMP but on H-4 immigration status?
