[求助]h1的生效时间和opt结束之间的间隔时间怎么处理？

请问一下，如果opt 2006年8月3号结束，而2007h1, 从2006年10月1号生效，那么8月到10月1日之间的期间怎么处理呢？
1。opt有一个60天的过渡期，但是这个期间能不能继续在公司上班？
2。在这段间隔期，有什么限定没有呢？

check with ur attorney.
I heard u can stay legally in the US for these 60days, but u can't work and get paid. or u can negotiate with ur company to work as volunteer during this period. but do check with an attorney.

我LG也是有几天间隔,就做了几天的volunteer.
If the gap is more than 60 days, most likely you will be required to go home and get a visa.
Are you only holding a Bachelor's degree? If you are, I can't help you for that. If not, you should be able to set the H1B starting day right after your OPT expiration.
