how long can my mother stay?

Mother got VISA at Shanghai the other day. But the annotation in VISA shows that " two month to visit the son, and no intend to overstay or extend'. Does it mean my mother can only stay here less than two months? Due to this reason, we don't know how long to return when booking the air ticket.
How about the sencond entry?

Your mom can stay here half-year.No problem.
But strongly suggest she just stay two months for a good record.
签证和海关是两个独立的机构，如果呆半年的话，出关是一点问题也没有，根据现在的多次入境，回去后无需签证，签证日期一年内还可以再过来。但是下次签证时，签证官能看到以往的纪录，包括这次的annotation。如果这次超过了两个月，下次签证很不利。
那就第一次来美国呆2个月，下次，签证日期一年内再过来，可以呆半年吧？
