check on the track on ur tires, and do some test while u do emergency quick stop in a raining day in parking lot. (best place would be school lot where there is no car and no pole). if slides, check if ur break need to be changes, else that would be the tires prob.

for breaks, it can be checked for free from big shops, and around 20 for gas station checkup. ask if it will be free just for quote on break or tires actually. do it if it is free. if not, look for next shop. try couple shops before u make a final decision.
