there is some unusual noise of my engine and i took it to mechanic. The
guy first said it was the puley, and change it for me. But the noise is
still there, after checking again, he said it is the problem of timing
chain, and it would cost more than $1000 to repair it.



My car is 1994 Nissan Altima, I bought it 2 years ago for $2400, don't
want to pay so high to fix it. Can I still sell it out? How much can I
sell?



Or, for the worst case, how much can I get for trading it in to dealers?
