German police raided the headquarters of Toyota's Formula 1 team in Cologne, Germany, later last year and took into custody one employee and seized computers, drawings, and CD-ROMs. The raid was part of an ongoing investigation of industry espionage. Ferrari claims a former employee, who worked for the Italian F1 team for seven years, stole design details and used them, when he took a job at TOYOTA in 2002, to produce the'03 toyota race car.
