别怕，上完了口语和思维肯定可以上一台阶阿！我还挺想有时间去上上这类课呢。

没上过课，以前受过一些短训，这种克大概还会讲一些manners方面的东西，比如注意听众反应，eye contact, body languages, voice volume, talking speed什么的，还有peer critiquing skills，对生活和工作整体都有好处的。

恩，这个课我们学校bschool有的，每年很多别的专业的人来修。
我打算最后一年去修一下，可以锻炼presentation skill,找工作有点帮助

不知道大家有没有这种感觉，我有时听自己的电话录音都感觉是另一个人. 平时练习的时候可以用录音机录下自己的话，然后反复听听哪里有不连贯的，发音不够准确的地方，语速是不是太快，说话是不是太平板等等。也可以对着镜子练习。 practice makes perfect.

I took this class last spring. I am the only foreigner in the class. Since it is Comm 111, so it wasn't that hard. We had 4 speeches for the whole semester. They are introduction, informative, informative and persuasive speech. We also have a lecture class every week. During the non-lecture class, we do pop-up speeches with about 2 minutes of preparation.

There was one time, the instructor wanted us to bring a quarter to the class and put in the cup before we make our speeches and the topic is to convence other classmate to leave this cup of quarters to you. I beat about 20 classmates and won the quarters at the end. So, just be prepared.
