Yesterday, the fire alarm was on in our apartment due to my fault. I burnt the food and lots of, lots of smoke went out.

After 10 minutes, three firemen came. They did nothing except asking my name and apartment number. Then they left.

Today my labmate told me that his wife did the same thing two years ago and she was charged by her landlord for $300 at the end of the lease. It seem that her landlord was charged by fire apartment for at least $300.

Now I was worried about it. I know that my landlord is not nice. I don't think he will pay for me.

Did anyone have the experiment? How many will I be charged?
