我们系里的party一般都是faculty及太太们下班回家换了衣服回来，那些拉家带口的人也回去接了配偶小孩过来。聊天也都是些关于research或他们拉家带口那些事的，人也都是平时抬头不见低头见的那么些人。所以我们这些光棍学生一般就是直接从实验室溜达过去，一顿免费晚餐，15分钟吃完了跟认识的人匆匆打个招呼也就撤了。
We just had our company xmas party last Friday. It was great fun. It was at a fancy resteraunt. Everyone dressed up and brought a small gift for gift exchange. We drank, ate, and chatted. Most important of all, seeing the colleagues' significant other ones.
The first xmas party at work was different. Everyone really dressed up, ladies in gown and gentlemen in suits. Drinking, eating,picture taking, award giving...
The second one, i dont remember having one.

wow, you guys all are having funs. tomorrow noon, my working place will have a little party for christmas.
都是正式社交场合, 当然没意思, 有意思的就是好朋友之间的小PARTY呀.

公司的PARTY就是先COCKTAIL，然后吃饭，今年抽了礼物，。同事们谈的都是孩子啊什么的，不是特别有意思
去了ld公司的party,他一同事的太太是妇产科的护士，向她请教问题，于是聊了一晚上的baby。
吃饱喝足，开始跳舞，音乐太响，偶们就先离开了。
今年公司包了条游艇游Potomac河
