虽然职业根性格有些关系，也不那么绝对，不能说急性子就做不好会计吧。
平时马大哈得人不一定工作上就不细心，一个道理。

听说会计工资不高。

kfccfk, I am not quite sure which kind of program you are in right now. As far as I know, if your program is not that related to acctounting, you have to take a lot of undergrad. accounting courses to be qualified to be seated in CPA exam, which is very important.

For the personality, I do not think that is a big issue. If you really like the discipline and enjoy doing it, you personality might be changed by your job in the long run. The accounting jobs are very boring if you do not like to deal with the numbers----one penny difference in the statement would take one whole day.

BTW, I do not have any personal working experience in that regards but I have many friends have that experience. What I said is my impression and hope it is helpful.

性子急照样可以做会计的,我以前的会计老师就是个急性子,但她做的很不错也... 会计其实还是很有意思的,有点象学计算机,先找出问题然后再DEBUG,成就感大大...

我也觉得性格不是关键，兴趣和责任感更加重要。

EN,责任感第一位,细心第二位,和困难做斗争的精神第三位,兴趣嘛,XI...对不同的人放在哪一位都是可以的,因为好象真正喜欢会计的确实不多,有点象苦行僧.
