I have been using Cingular's cell phone for 3 years, $35 per month/ 250m daytime/ 5,000m night and weekend. You can dial 611 at any time, to check how many minutes have been used since last billing date. In the way you will control your time.

Maybe I should. But if I change the plan, i will have to sign another 2 years contract. This is my third year with Verizon and i have one more year to go. I hate being stuck with them. Plus, my plan is 49.99+4.99(picture phone). The only thing i am not happy is the roaming thing.

I have cingular family plan for $59.99/month, 400min. It's free mobileto mobile and maybe we don't talk too much with anyone else. We have alot of roll over minutes left till now.

You can call customer service to upgrade your last month plan to have more minute. e.g. from 59.99 400min to $79.99 600min. Then you only need to pay the higher monthly fee. My husband used to do that all the time.
