What

There are certain points you really should know before you fell you really believe in god (or not):

1) As said in Bible, God is our "father", we are all the sons of him. We can suppose God would be a good father, right? Then for a good father, he would be glad to see his sons are growing health, and his sons are having a good and enjoyable way of living, right? So, first point of ALL, as long as you make yourself live healthy and in a enjoyable way, your father will be happy about it (I wouldn't call him a good father if he does not want me to be good in that way). (healthy I mean both physically and mentally).

2) Judgement day: Bible says where will have a judegment day, on which all the people will be judged to heaven or hell. This sounds scary because no one want to go hell. However, the exact date of the judgemetn day is never scheduled. It may be next year, or 1000 years later. Most people belives it will be thousands of years later at least. Bible never says the exact date.

So, here comes the problem. As a parable, let me give an example first. Suppose one day my boss tell me: hi dear guy, we are not satsifed with your work, and we will fire you in year 2500. What would I do? I think I will not care about it, since year 2500 is so far away that I don't care. And before year 2500, I still have my job. So why should I worry?

In Bibile, this problem leaves two unsolved issues:

a) since most people think the judegement day is so far far far away, they do not care. So even those who believes in GOD still commit crimes (this is the truth, right?).

b) before the juedgement day, where do these people who already die go? Not heaven, not hell. Some theories exist but they are not explictily said in bible (or at lease I did not find it).

3) "Everyone has sin since born". This is a word that I heard most often from those friends who believe in God. It sounds scary too since everyone wants to be a good guy in a common sense. However, severl points come here:

a) Even everyone has sin, so everyone is fair and equal on this point. So there is no point that we should feel guilty about this.

b) Why let a "sin" that you never really know haunt you all your life? It is something (a possible fact) that "pre-exist" before you have your mind (before you can think), so that is not your fault, right?

c) Last but also most important: we are human, we are not god (for whatever reason, for example, God let us down to earth to be human, or there is no god and we are human all the time). We should not require ourself to be as good as the god. Right? To make it simple: do you expect a 5 year kids as smart and as trustful and as knowledgeable as a 25 guy? The same thing: if there is a GOD, he must be a super wise and super smart guy. He would not expect us to be as good as he is, right? Just if we can imporve ourself day by day, he will be happy, right?

So as conclusion:

We do not againt the theory of God and Bible. But we do not live for it either. Also, there are a LOT of other kind of religion rather than Jesus. If one wants to againt one kind of religion, how about the other kinds? If one wants to belive one kind of religion, how about other kinds of religions?

Someone tells you that you have sin from born. On the other hand, you are a gorgeous human being from born also: you study and work, make the society wealthy and healthy, make others happy, make the human race more knowledgeable. What a gorgeous guy you are! Don't compare human with god (if there is one), just a don't compare a 5 year old with 25 year old.

If there is a god, as I said, he never call me, never send me email, never send me mail or MSN me. So basically, I learn from the society, from other human beings. I do not learn from god, right? Some friends againt me on this point, say that I do not prey so the god can not communicate with me well. Hey, wake up. God is the father, if he wants to teach me something, he should use some way that I am glad and happy to accept, right? Otherwise, he does not teach well, not me (remmeber he should be far far more smart than me.).

Nothing is perfect. Why 1+1 = 2? Why E = MC^2? Why the Black Hole exists? Why through any 2 points, there is only one straight line? All these things are never verified clearly. They are either some fundamental theories that we believe they are true without verify them, or we can try to verify them by using other indirect methods. But all these does not stop people from using them, right? So whether there is god or not, can be proved or not, just live with the facts: some people belive there is some kind of god (by different religons), some do not believe it.

At last, if you think having a god in your mind help you, then go ahead with it. If not, then go ahead without it. Both are good. Why bother more?
