I went to see the oral surgeon today and he suggested that I have two of my wisdom teeth extracted. The bottom tooth is a partially bony one which costs $300 (PB), the upper one is an erupted tooth which costs $175 (TE), and IV (full body anesthesia) costs $250. Are these prices reasonable? Or shall I ask the prices of other clinics?

Because my insurance covers only about half of the extraction fee and doesn't cover IV, I have to pay nearly $500 by myself. I'm wondering if I can use local anesthesia instead. Does anyone have the experience of getting a partially bony tooth extracted with local anesthesia? My bottom tooth is growing horizontally.
