For these years I have opened some accounts at some of the banks.
Following are some of my experiences, hope it helps, (for my 魅力)
Citibank:
Bad : Long wait to talk to the customer service.
Good: Online banking is good, right now the new esaving is really good, fast, easy to open if you already have an account with citibank.
Chase : Customer service: bad, I've tried 1800 number for a few days in a row, and customer service is either down or closed.
Bank of America:
customer service: OK, you need to have pay for mantenance fee if you have low balance checking account.
Good: you could withraw money from china construction bank without paying any fees. and the exchange rate is good too.

Thanks for sharing your personal experience. I am not sure why 1-800 number is bad for chase. I have not encountered a single incident.
In order to grow your meili, plz continue sharing and contributing good experience and posts.
我一直用的BOA的,觉得还好,学生帐户最好了,5年免费
其它帐户,要求还好吧,不是太高
总的来说,觉得还行

boa: 这次搬家老革命遇到新问题。 boa 不是全国联的， 我取钱发生问题， 存钱吃了我的check, 2 weeks later money got posted in account, 办 cashier's check, same money deducted from our account twice. for weeks, we have to either call boa or go to the local bank to get the cash... sigh...

MM一提醒，我想起来了
我有2个BOA的账户，一个是学生的，一个是普通的
有几次犯懒去柜台直接存支票，明明告诉他们存到我的学生账户里，因为没有手续费，结果他们还是给我存到普通账户里，然后算我超过免费使用次数，收我手续费
如果不是名下只有学生账户的话，还是尽量用ATM存支票，或者限定在免费次数里，以免被额外收费
