Saw this offer while checking my Citi credit card account online and thought it might be useful to some people here. Searched and couldn't find a post already addressing it.

So you get a 25 cent credit to your Citibank checking account for each credit card purchase up to a $250/year max. Minimum $1,500 initial deposit to checking account plus direct deposit OR 2 online bill payments per month. I don't know about the rest of you, but I easily make 1000+ card transactions per year. Combine this and a % cash back card, and you'll save a bunch.
