被公司的搬家费郁闷了, 该怎么报税泥?

看到劳工的w4, 他的公司竟然把为他cover的搬家费,中间的corporate housing 和帮我们找房子住的realtor 的钱都算到了wage&salary里,一共多加了26k(含税). 可是这都没到我们手中,我们现在面临更高的tax brasket, 承当更高的marginal tax rate. 这些难道不应该是公司的expenses 吗?我们现在因为这样就不能contribute to Roth IRA, traditional IRA 也不能 deduct, 还有tax rebate 就没了。还有其他credit 也没了。真得很郁闷。
其他姐妹有没有类是经验的,是不是就没任何指望了?
原则上来说公司的做法完全正确。

多谢楼上姐妹们的解答,看来公司就是照章办事。这么说如果公司已经cover了我们的moving expenses, 我们还是能deduct moving expenses的,可是为什么公司发来的信上是这样写的,解释26k的来头.
他的明细表中有一张这样写:
2007 Imputed Miscellaneous Income:
Taxable Amounts (subject to gross-up):
1。 XX
2. XX
3. XX
Total: 15k
后面又有US taxes: 11k
这个subject to gross-up 是个啥冬冬, 我们要是能deduct的话,是15k还是26k呢?一头雾水中。。。。。。还请支个招。

$15K is your moving expense. "Gross-up" simply means the calculation of pre-tax income.
The way to think about imputed income: your moving expense is $15k after tax, so you must have earned $26k, and paid $11k in taxes, to have this $15k after-tax money.
$26k is includible in your gross income, and $15k is a deduction as moving expense.
