0% BT usually has fees. There are very few cards has 0 fee now.
I would recommend you and your husband applying 2 credit cards with billpay function: Here is one http://personal.fidelity.com/misc/buffers/retirement-rewards-card.shtml.cvsr
Here is another one. http://www.schwab.com/public/schwab/banking_lending/credit_card?cmsid=P-990780&lvl1=banking_lending&lvl2=credit_card&
Then you can pay one card with another and back and forth. It is like a 0% BT with no fee. The Schwab card has no preset limit if you have $5000 nominal CL and above which means you can owe as much as you can......
Also, if your husband's salary can not even afford a $3650 monthly expenses (not mentioning the big hole that you are implying), why buy a house in the first place? I suggest sell the house and rent from then on.
I would not suggest you cut on groceries and everyday expenses anymore. You won't be able to get qualify foods and will impact your future health.
You should sell one car and buy a very old car just to convey your kid to daycare.
I have been using Comcast TV/Internet for FREE for years. Reply if you are interest in doing it, it requires some time.

Comcast will be dead if too many people use this trick. Or at least the deal will be dead. To ensure I can continue to take advantage of it, I won't share it in public. However, LZ's situation is urgent so I want to give her some help. She needs to promise she won't share it with others before I tell her how to do it.
Again, I should say that this trick is time-consuming and can cause huge inconvenience to you (i.e. service interruption for 2 weeks). I won't recommend people using it unless you really need the money.
