It just depends, i called citi about this thanks points, they argued that if your credit card has cash back, they will not be involved in the thank points system. If your credit card doesn't have cash back, you could go to citi website and apply for the ID of thanks points system. Then you can link all your citi things together and get more points. Once you accumulate enough, you can deem gas, travel ticket,all kinds of things
