大家不要小瞧一两个百分点，长期下来，结果差别会很大。
假定平均年回报率是x= i%, 现在的钱数是CV (Current Value), 直接算n年后的钱FV (Future Value)就是:
FV = CV *(1 + x)^n
多少年后，你的钱会翻一番 （FV = 2CV）? 把FV = 2CV带入上边的公式，两边取自然对数， 再把ln(1+x)取近似值x, ln2~0.72, 得到
0.72 = n*x = n* i% => 72 = n*I => n = 72/i
也就是大约72/i年后，你的钱数会翻一翻了。
有了这个72法则，
对于不同的回报率，大家就比较容易算出，在你退休时，你现在投的钱会变成多少了。对几个百分点的差别，也就很容易算出来了。

This is consistent with the 7-10 rule people usually use. In other other, if the interest is 7%, your money will double in 10 years, if interest if 10%, then money will double in 7 years.
If the return is 3%, your money will be double in 24 years. In the same way, 18 years for 4%; 12 years for 6%; 9 years for 8%; 8 years for 9%; 6 years for 12%. You can easily calculate the difference for different percentage.
