刚看了F1 如何扣税的帖子，我也有疑问哦。我是J1， 请问，存CD是否要扣税呢？

如果不扣，是否也和F1的程序是一样的？（是否也是 usually banks don't deduct tax from your interest themselves, at least in my case. At the end of the year banks will mail you a 1099 form which indicate how much interest you earn and you will file tax according to this form. If you are a F-1, you don't need to include this as your income.？）

是不是ONLINE SAVING 也要扣税啊？
