我是完全不懂，什么是bond face value啊？Unrealized Gain/Loss 是 -$909.09。这个是什么啊？是我的钱真的少了吗？这种BOND是不是不应该买啊？是不是转成定期啊？

bond=债券

Class AAA = risk free , normally the issuer is the government (you still have inflation risk, political risk, etc)

Class AA, A, BBB, BB = investment grade bond, relatively safe.

generally, a bond is a promise to repay the principal and the coupon (interest) at the end of maturity

all bonds are required to repay the principal

some government bonds donot have interest but sold on a discounted price

face value will approach par value when the bonds approach maturity

Unrealized gain/loss = if you sell now, the difference compare to the money you get at the end of maturity

you need check the term and conditions for your bond, some bonds are callable, the company has the right to call the bond at a price lower than the market price, and you have no choice for this.
