Thanks. I already have Diamond Preferred card. I applied in 2005 and got $100 too. Back then, it was 5% at grocery store, gas station and drug store and 1% on everything else, for the first 12 months.

Currently they have 10,000 points for Diamond Preferred American Express Card too.

it is weird. They should give you 2% if you used the code. My first month point balance was 10108. They gave me bonus point and 108 points for the $54 I spent. You can call again and threaten to close the account.
