我在IRA 方面比较保守，存的是CITIBANK的6和7MONTH CD，每年固定5%左右的回报。看着401K里的MUTUAL FUND时高时低，心惊肉跳的，还是CD稳定点，尽管回复很低。

i got to know that you can trade stocks in your ira account. what is the difference btw this and buying stock at stock exchange (outside of retirement accounts)? Are there other fees involved? or there is limitations of stock choices?
i thought ira can only get mutrual funds.

Vanguard is a good choice. You can choose no load fund. Make sure you check the expense ratio, anythign over 1% is too much. Fedelity also has some food low cost fund.
