no as long as they do not charge you on early termination there is typically no impact on closing a checking account

我是上个月开的，用的一样的coupon,chase的解释是每个月存100块以上，然后每个月使用debit卡5次以上（金额不限），就不会charge年费，10天后你就可以拿到125的offer，3个月后你可以canel你的account,没有罚金。。

lz有paypal或ING Direct吗？用其中之一打钱到chase checking里也算direct deposit<br/>

this trick will at most work on the direct deposit requirement for monthly fee waive

It mostly won't work on the 125 open bonus unless u r lucky. Chase is strict on the open bonus.
