I am an apprentice in the stock market and just start to do it.I am thinking about to buy ABB. My job is related to power industry, so I sort of know a little bit about the electrical equipment industry. Based on my understanding, this industry has been low for more than 15 years because the deregulation of the power market and many owners just focused on the financial profit and invest a little in the infrastructure.So lots of company were forced to get out of the market.Now it is the time for those old equipments to retire and the equipements market became alive again. So I personally believe that ABB, which survived after many years of depress, are in the best time in the market with less competitors and more demand. But there is one thing I really don't like ABB.I will talk about it later. XYIN and hhmouse, what do you think about ABB stock? I have no clue about those statistics index.

This industry is turning around. Now it is just the begining of getting stronger. I believe there are at least 2 years to go. Plus ABB has good engineering expertise which no other company can excel. The only thing I don't like the company is the marketing. Maybe it is from Swiss and the style is different.

when you say the marketing u don't like, can u explain a little in detail? I have not got time to study this one yet. would like to know as much you know i can get a quick start
also can u explain why you think there are 2 more years? if this is a cyclinal, then long before the peak, price or margin or drop.

All i can tell now is, this company seems to be promising. from TA, is not bad either. so if you are a professional in this field, i think you can trust your guts on this. after all, you know way more than i do.

换了这个TREASURY SECRETARY可能会对美元的政策产生影响。
