I have never asked my boss during the annual performance review what the average pay raise or the pay raise range is within the company. I'm not too big on comparing myself with others on pays and pay raises. What is the point of finding out a fact that you can’t even change? I just accept the raise and move on with myself. Is that weird? It is not because I am loaded and don’t care about money, the fact is that I am one of the top performers within the organization and I believed that I have been treated fairly nicely in the last a few years (evidenced by decent raises and bonuses) and therefore, I didn’t need to complain.

顺便问一下,在公司里怎么知道自己的涨幅处于什么水平呢。我工作时间不长,还只涨过一次。当时经理说公司的平均(或底线)是4%,我当时涨了6%多一丁点。我不知道其他同事的情况。有一次跟一个比较要好,但很__的同事说到这事,她好像讳默如深,不愿说。我也就算了。
