昨天收到CITI来的信，说是dividend card有special offers，需要打电话去find out what I qualify for。我今天就打 了, 信上面提到了可以要求change cash back。我就问了。CSR告诉我，我在接下来的六个月里可以有２％的cash back on everything else in additon to the 5% on grocery, gas and drug store expense。同志们如果收到信了，千万要打电话去问问有什么好的deal呀。估计是我最近没怎么用这张卡的缘故。我最近都在用Chase Flexible Rewards.

在用Chase Flexible Rewards的卡卡，请问MM和这个CITI的 dividend card比有什么区别吗？那个更好点。前者不时地发小额支票给我，好象是要收年费了什么的，是这样吗？谢谢！！

I think that is some kind of program (such as protection and stuff). they will charge the annual fee once you deposit the check. if you don't want to enroll in the program (don't want to pay the fee), just disregard those checks.

I don't think they are big difference between CITI dividend and Chase flexible rewards. they both give out 5% cashback on purchases at grocery stores, drug stores and gas station, and 1% on everything else. The cap for the cash back for each year is $300. for chase, you can redeem cashback online but for CITI I think you have to call the 1-800 number on the back of your card. also for Chase card, the cash back points are posted for each biling cycle while for CITI there are delays of one or two billing cycles sometimes.
