大牛们，谁能回答我的问题---federal telephone excise tax

2006年以前和一个朋友合用FAMILY PLAN 的手机，但账户在她的名下。这下问题就出来了。我现在想file 1040x to claim Federal Telephone Excise Tax for 2006, 但是又没有supporting document and record. 请问这里的好姐妹们。如果没有支持文件，我还能拿到REFUND 吗？？？在1040X表上，好像要attach supporting forms for items changed, 否则1040X 会被退回。

the telephone tax is for last year only. You can't declare it anymore.

不用吧，如果你是requesting the standard amount。2007 form 1040X instructions 第2页上有怎么claim 2006 Federal telephone excise tax，没提要extra form，或者看 http://www.irs.gov/newsroom/article/0,,id=161506,00.html ，问题 “Can I still request the refund?”
我理解如果你要requesting a refund of the actual amount，才需要 Form 8913, Credit for Federal Telephone Excise Tax Paid。

Yes. You need not have bills and records covering the entire period, but you must have records adequate to support the refund amount you are requesting.”
这段话好像不是很CLEAR，是不是仅仅指ACTUAL AMOUNT。ANYWAY, 如果没有更好的答案， 我就不提供SUPPORTING DOCUMENT AND RECORD 了。
