考古了一下，打算转成prepaid。问了verizon，他们的plan好像不怎么好，使用的当天要付一个fee，算下来很容易就超过一个regular family plan乐。大家都用哪家公司的？最好是那种不charge 额外的费用，用多少算多少的。

据说T-Mobile的不错，还有就是Stimobile也还行。可以到每一个网站查看计划，比较一下就清楚哪一个更适合你。
T-mobile prepaid to go: 10 cents/min. Good for those who use phone infrequently.
Spend $100 to qualify for gold member, gold member minutes won't expire in a year. Next year before minute expires, refill as little as $10 and you can roll over all the remaining minutes for another year.
I have this phone for parents's use during their visiting. Had it for 2 years now and total cost is $120. still have more than half of the original minutes left. If the minutes last 4 years then the average cost would be ~$3 per month.

That would depend on the remoteness of your area.
T-mobile's signal is fine in my place and also in several large cities i've been to.
It's certainly not as good as verizon though, 'coz my cell phone would sometimes have no signal in basement while other people with verizon can still make phone calls. But then again, this doesn't bother me 'coz i don't need to make phone calls in basement very often. LOL.
You can check T-mobile's coverage on their website, and also ask around to see if anybody near you are happy with T-mobile.
