风格统一当然好, 不过会不会单调啊?

I use different style for different rooms, like my 1st level family room is very colorful, secondary level living/dinning room + kitchen are neutral and more traditional, my 3rd level bedrooms are contemporary with different color theme for different rooms.
I think that's more fun, especially for ppl like me, who like different styles.

Could you show some pictures of your home if possible? I am shopping furnitures now but not sure about the style. Your ideas seem very nice!
I'm still doing improvments. Change my mind and have new ideas frequently. Once I'm ready, I'll show some pictures.
As for buying furnitures, my suggestion is that don't rush into any styles, buy the ones that you really love. I think it's more important to have the pieces that you'll love for a long time than following any "rules".

I think the living room and dinning room should be (or better be) the same style. But the bedrooms can be different styles.
