Statistics 问题

书上有个题目让我很郁闷,要求求population proportion的,但是又没给出percent confidence interval,所以我不知道怎么做, 所以发到这里来请高手指教,谢谢!!! 在线等!!!!

In each of the following cases, determine whether the sample size n is large enough to use the large sample formula present in the box on page 292 to compute a confidence interval for p.

A  p=0.1  n=30

B  p=0.8  n=400

这里的p的头上还有一个小帽子一样的标志,我打不出来,相信高手都知道这个是甚么标志了吧,呵呵
