Some dentists will give you discount if you don't have insurance. You can go to Boston Shenghuo net and search Chinese dentist in your area. Normally, if you are a first time patient, they will do a x-ray with oral exame under 100 dollars. Then, if they find something that needs treatment, you can ask them for a quote before having any work done. If you find the quote is too expensive, then you can go to another dentist for a 2nd opinon. Or simply ask your friend and ask for referral and possibly skip the oracle exam. In the future, I would suggest you buy dental insurance because I found dentist here is way better than in China.
