如果需要先crown lenghtening 再root canal, 值得做吗？

今天去看了endodontist 咨询我的牙能不能做root canal， 他说因为decay的位置到了牙龈，必须先做crown lengthening，然后root canal，这样一来整个过程至少要去6次，而且总费用和我的genenral dentist 建议的 implant 差不多，而且做过crown lengthening 以后，牙龈会低很多，这个牙和两边的牙之间会有两个洞，容易掉进去食物。。。
本来看了大家的建议，已经决定要做root canal了，这样一来有有点犹豫了，因为看到网上有人说了 crown lengthening，如果以后需要植牙，可能骨头不够。。 上来看看dudu和其他懂的xdjms有没有什么建议，多谢多谢了！！![]()

顺便问一下，做implant的specialist叫什么啊，还是general dentist就可以做。。。

This is really a decision for you to make. But don't worry about how many visits you have to go. Both plans need mutiple visits in a few months. Specialists including oral surgeons, prosthodontists, and periodontists as well as certified general dentists all can do implant. Sorry I cannot help more.
mm多谢你的回复，我以为implant 次数会少一些那，还有就是觉得做了crown lengthening 以后，留下的牙缝大，又在靠后面的位置（#30 牙齿）清理麻烦，怕以后再有后患。确实这几天犹犹豫豫了很久，还好这边很多热心的xdjm给我意见
周三又要去看我的general dentist 了，希望她能推荐个好点的医生，看起来可以做植牙的医生还挺多的，原来我一直以为是很高精尖的工艺。。。
Talk to your dentist more about your concerns. The food impaction after crown lengthening could be a potential problem but after the implant is done, a crown is still needed and good cleaning is also a must. If you already decide to choose implant, make sure that the oral surgeon/periodontist who will extract the tooth knows that you plan to get an implant there and he/she will save as much bone as posiible during the extraction.

谢谢mm，我的general dentist 本来是想自己给我拔，但是他的老师（我的dentist 是 dental school 的学生）让他推荐我去oral surgeon 哪里拔，应该就是考虑了mm说的这个问题吧，你一说我才想起来。
mm说的implant之后good cleaning is a must, 是和做crown lengthening 之后同样的问题吗（牙齿两边有两个空洞）？还是说日常生活要注意清理？还有就是implant后可以用牙线吗（会不会把crown掀掉。。。。![]()

If you have implant and crown done, it should look like a normal tooth from outside. When I said good cleaning, it just means the regular brushing and flossing. Sorry for the confusion. The crown will be cemented to the abutment and no worry for the flossing.

exactly。不管哪一种方案，都不是能很完美解决你得问题。所以你要跟医生多沟通，告诉他们你的想法，多听听多了解会出现得问题和风险，自己权衡了再Talk to your dentist more about your concerns.
