I am age 34. Married with one two-year boy. Most recent Pap Smear results show abnormal results for the first time:

 "High grade squamous intraepithelial lesion (HGSIL) encompassing moderate dysplasia, severe dysplasia and carcinoma in-situ"

According to the doctor, it's a sign of severe pre-cancer condition and she asked me to schedule a colposcopically directed biopsy ASAP. It is also very likely that a LEEP procedure need to follow after the biopsy.

I just relocated to Brooklyn NY three months ago. The news was a shock to me.

1. Can JM's recommend a good clinic / doctor to do it, or just do it at the clinic that my doctor referred? There are sooooo many Russions in this area. Because there is about 20% chance of recuring, I am hoping to find a good one, if possible.

2. How come I develop such severe condition without any abnormal symptons - no pain, no abnormal bleeding, no abnormal discharge? I did have yeast infection and I have undergone pressure over the past few years but supposingly, it develops very slowly.

3. Any other suggestions?
