Let me share my recent experience at Shisedo spa.

Day: 12/15/2007

Time: 11pm, last about 30 mins

Place: Shiseido counter

In a casual chat with a Shiseido sale woman, I got to know there would be some facial events one month later. Why not have a try? I thought. So I signed up. She asked for my phone when taking notes for my appointment. When that day came, she called me to remind and confirm the appointment.

Before the spa, she asked me what skincare I was using so that she would have an idea about my skin type. Then after selecting a few things, I followed her to a room nearby. She let me lie down and began to put something on my face. She didn't explain what she put on my face all the time. So I kept asking her about that. The first thing she put on was some softer, working like toner, to clear extra oil on my face. Then she began to put "benefiance firming massage mask" on my face and my neck. After that, she began using fingers first on the forehead, then on my mouth, and then on cheeks. Lastly, she pressed around my eyes and chins. Only after the massage, did I realize that what I had signed up was just a facial message, not a facial treatment. According to them, it is "a beautifying treatment and the ultimate indulgence. Circulation improves and skin feels revitalized, firmer and more radient". But what I felt at that time was the face "radient" with lots of oil. So I asked her to tissue more off. With so many oil on the face, I didn't have to put on any moisture. I left the mask on overnight and cleansed it off the next morning. Really I did not feel too many difference in my skin, so personally I will not recommend JMs about this kind of facial massage.

btw, although I arrived for the appointment on time, I had to wait about thirty minutes for her to finish with another girl. That also lowered their credit in my mind.
