10 Colour Trends for Spring 2010

Since I discussed Spring and Summer fashion trends the other day, I thought you all would like to know the upcoming Spring 2010 colour report as published by Pantone. This way we’ll all get a better idea of what to expect colour-wise once the temperatures warm up!

Without further ado the Pantone Spring 2010 Colors are:

Turquoise — Pantone 15-5519 (vibrant blue-green)
Tomato Purée — Pantone 18-1661 (classic red)
Fusion Coral — Pantone 16-1543 (warm orange)
Violet — Pantone 16-3320 (light purplish hue)
Tuscany — Pantone 16-1219 (warm beige)
Aurora — Pantone 12-0642 (slightly greenish yellow)
Amparo Blue — Pantone 18-3945 (a warmer navy)
Pink Champagne — Pantone 12-1107 (delicate pale neutral)
Dried Herb — Pantone 17-0627 (green neutral)
Eucalyptus — Pantone 15-0513 (practical gray)

As you can see, black is out! Well, at least for Spring 2010. There are also a lot of neutrals which area always a staple with Spring fashions.  With the current economic state, everyone is looking foward and hoping for things to turn around. The color trends are going for a brighter, cheery and hopeful outlook on life. Looks like Spring is going to be a beautiful season for fashion!
