还有南瓜节，是到11月份14号截至的，其中有南瓜做的小屋子，还有不同时候去会有不同的活动，快2岁的孩子如果有万圣节的概念的话，都会很迷南瓜的，meagan一定会喜欢。
我们这个活动在达拉斯呢，你在休士顿附近吗？这里的小熊妈妈（甜甜）在休士顿吧，不过她在2008年7月楼去得比较多哦。

Sixth Annual "Sam's Day"
October 30, 2010
Sam's Day 2010 takes place from 11am to 5pm in CenterPark Garden at
NorthPark Center. This is a FREE family fun day including a performance
by David Chicken, a silent auction, obstacle course, bounce house, slide
with balls, fast pitch, face painters, tattoo airbrush artist, balloon
artists, magicians, juggler, cotton candy, snow cones and popcorn. The
silent auction will include items such as a weekend trip for two to
Horseshoe Bay Resort, a condo in Puerto Vallarta and sports tickets and
memorabilia. This year's event will have a Halloween theme.
Sam's Day raises money for the fight to end Duchenne Muscular Dystrophy (DMD). Sam's Day was started as a way to help educate others about DMD and to help raise funds to support PPMD's research mission. After five years of taking place at Flag Pole Hill at White Rock Lake, this local outreach effort and fundraiser will take place at NorthPark Center's CenterPark Garden. DMD is the most common fatal genetic disorder diagnosed in childhood, affecting approximately 1 in every 3,500 live male births (about 20,000 new cases each year). DMD is a degenerative disease that will cause muscles to break down over time. The event is named for Sam Killian who was diagnosed with DMD in 2005.
This annual event has raised nearly $600,000 over the past 5 years, with all donations benefiting Parent Project Muscular Dystrophy (PPMD). PPMD was organized in 1994 and is led by Pat Furlong who had two sons with DMD. The organization is totally dedicated to Duchenne and has been a leader in funding research and lobbying lawmakers to dedicate resources to the fight against DMD.
