I am a professional hunter in Shanghai. Currently I am searching a senior
SOC head for Nokia Siemens Networks (NSN) in Shanghai, China. He will manage
about 140 team members including those people from a German team, two
Finland teams and two Shanghai teams. He will report to the VP in Finland
directly.


The candidates who have no telecom background are encouraged to apply this
position, which actually requires the candidate having rich managing
experience in multinational company. This position is located at Shanghai
and prefers Chinese. Please check the following job description for the

Key responsibility areas are:

1. Leads a team of SoC (ASIC/FPGA) technology experts and coordinates all
SoC (ASIC/FPGA) related work across all NWS Platforms.

2. Drives use of advanced technologies, also cost efficient design and
implements extended re-use across organization.

   3. Directs SoC technology strategy.

   4. Builds and enhances the interface to the R&D community

   5. Responsible for resource and budget planning within the area



Requirements:

1.      Understand of advanced EE and SoC development and methodology.

2.      Good knowledge on TDM and Packet (IP/Ethernet) based
telecommunication network solution

3.      15+ years experience in the R&D of Telecommunication Networks or
Communication industry.

4.      Strong leader in global R&D setup and ability to influence and guide
direction of R&D teams and/or in large complex international programs with
a Master's degree or similar

5.      Successful leadership of large scale projects of intercultural multi
-site development

6.      Strong skills in networking across organizational structures

7.      Goal-oriented decision making and quick grasp of new matters

8.      Strategic thinking as well as an excellent ability to prioritize and
achieve timely results

9.      Able to motivate and communicate to achieve best business
performance

10.   High personal integrity, social competence and ability to create trust
