搞不懂有些洼地人，小学考试成绩也出来炫。等到小孩没考好不能上清华化工系，只能去北大法律系再来炫行吗。

还真不是炫耀，2，30年前北京小学就这样了，四五年级双百三百的孩子一个班至少四五个，没这个水平六年级小升初大概率是考不上重点中学的，不知道现在小升初怎么计算成绩，但2，30年前语文数学两科成绩没有190往上是绝没有重点初中上的，而且市重点往往都在195往上，所以四五年级时如果不是双百三百水平，是不会被当作重点中学苗子看的，而上不了区或市重点，基本就与重点高中无缘，也就是与985，211之类的好大学无缘了。很无奈的说，真就几把这么卷。

Israeli authorities handed over the information alleging that 12 United Nations Relief and Works Agency (UNRWA) employees were involved in the murderous rampage in southern Israel, the agency’s Commissioner-General, Philippe Lazzarini, said.

“To protect the agency’s ability to deliver humanitarian assistance, I have taken the decision to immediately terminate the contracts of these staff members and launch an investigation in order to establish the truth without delay.”

The US immediately cut funding to the agency in the wake of the allegations surfacing, the State Department said – marking a significant reversal from the Biden administration’s strong support for UNRWA.

On Jan. 20, Japan made history and became the fifth country to ever successfully land a spacecraft on the moon.

Now, the world can see what the spacecraft can on the lunar surface. In a new set of images taken just before Japan's SLIM lunar lander shut down to conserve power, the moon's surface is revealed as a barren but rocky landscape dotted with boulders.

The pictures were created by compiling over 250 monochrome, low-res photographs into a more detailed landscape shot, showing the rocky lunar surface stretching into the distance. 

By zooming in, the JAXA team was able to identify several rocks of interest, which were given canine nicknames like Toy Poodle, Bulldog and Shibainu as a means to give some context to their relative sizes. 

The images are bittersweet. While JAXA's moon lander, also known as SLIM, met its primary goal to demonstrate a new landing technique, the lander touched down and tipped over, meaning its solar cells were pointing away from the sun.

JAXA decided to shut SLIM down in the hope that the sun would eventually be in a position that it could power back on.

Should the solar cells get power, SLIM will take a series of spectroscopic photos that will give a better idea of the chemical composition of the moon’s dirt.

Played over RFA's Mandarin programming block. Another strange thing is on the hour at 20:00 UTC, Firedrake didn't stop, when it normally breaks on the hour for 10 or so minutes. I've heard it's a bit rarer for China to use Firedrake instead of just playing CR1 over the signal instead but it's still a fascinating find.

Edit: Another interesting thing I noticed earlier was an earlier RFA broadcast in Mandarin, about 10 minutes in you could very gradually hear CR1 fade in, followed by about 10 minutes of what was very audibly the censors and RFA fighting for control over the frequency, each station getting louder and quieter several

times, with the intensity of the signal climbing as it went on. Definitely one of the stranger events I’ve heard over radio
