The wives are H4s or F2s. They have kids. They need to support the family. Often times it's pressure. If there is a way to make more money by hard working, why not? right? If anybody thinks that those people deserve it, please, come out, say it to somebody who lost his/her job in her face. How dare you?!

i totally agree with you on this. that was why i gave the earthquake metaphor. unfortunately some people obviously don't get it.

我相信天下没有不付出就有回报的好事。
一份工作的工资多少都是有原因的，工资高的要么有特殊的特长技能，要么工作时间长，要么工作环境不好，要么会接除有害健康的物质，要么责任重大，等等，总之不会是无猿无故的，资本家都是贼坏贼坏的。。。
三月份的时候就不行了。不肯贱卖，所以拖到现在。

我觉得说不好,,,,大坑没见底,FED也不BACK,敢出手的不多,价格也低不了,不一定卖得出去.哪个公司会在股票20块的时候按15块卖出去捏.

ｂｅａｒ产品太单一化了。。
ｌｅｈ 不一样，在ｂｏｎｄ ｍｋｔ上也算重量级的ｍａｒｋｅｔ ｍａｋｅｒ。
很多人不见得就愿意看见这部分消失。。。。
还有一个，ｂｅａｒ在９８年没有攒下人品。。要不是ｊｐｍ和他们ｒｉｓｋ混在一起太多，未必会出手。。。
我家ZT也这么说。他说好多人也说，是政府挽救了JPM。
any job has a market price...it the perceived value of that job. it is not about work hours. some busboys work 12 hours/day too.
I agree with you actually, I just use that as an example to show that more working hrs doesn't necessary lead to higher pay....
And by the way, bus drivers can actually earn more than a entry level faculty if they work more than 12 hrs.
