I had a friend passed away last year at age of 97 when he was diagnosed stage 4 lung cancer at 87. My experience with him is keep positive attitude and don’t stop what you do (maybe little less). Work with doctors on chemo, make sure don’t let them overdose if possible. My friend did calculation with his doctor on how much chemo he should use and compared with doctor after his surgery. He was cancer free after 8 months. We are here to bless your family for your husband recovery.
