请问卖掉出租房的钱算收入吗?有什么好方法能避税?

楼主在中西部小城,有个常年出租的房子,因为麻烦事太多,偶尔还遇到过几次不付钱的无赖租客,所以最近把它卖了。
卖价比10年前的买价多了十几万吧。
请问这十几万算我今年的收入吗?那不是得交好多税?
