Hehe, I got similar problems with my professors before. I worked with a lady professor at the beginning of my program. then the department grduate director urged me to switch the supervisor(meaning to himself) because he thought she was not qualified as graduate supervisor since she was not teaching any graduate course then. Some courses i took when working with her were disqualified as graduate credits and I had to take extra courses to make up. He constantly discredited her in front of the students.

I don't know how the politics went but a year later, the lady professor seemed to be back on track and took hold. Her undergraduate courses were promoted to the grdaute level and after I made up all the credtes, the disqualified courses I took before were then counted as graduate credites again and she was supervising another graduate student's work. ffdt.

She was really nice and never said anything bad about the other professor in front of me, though she some times joked about him. but the gentleman was kind of nasty.
