With the bailout plan approved very soon after the citi deal, I guess WB didnt have to rush to close the deal with c.

I actually think it's a pretty good deal for WFC. WB's commercial side is profitable. But I bet everyone at WB is blaming Ken Thompson for the Golden West deal.
