You should definitely go to see a doctor.  Waiting may cause small problems grow into serious illness or unnecessary worries.  Last year, I had shingle, which typically appear around the waist.  But mine was somewhere rather embarassing. I thought I might have contracted STD and was worrying about it quite a bit.  It tooks the doctor one look to diagnose.
