if it is possible, you'd better not to be completely knocked out. when i had my wisdom teeth extracted, something called "laughing gas" was used, i could not feel anything around my teeth, but i was still conscious. i think it was enough already. two of my wisdom teeth were impacted and considered hard to be extracted.
