You need to go see a doctor if you dream in your sleep. There are two major stages of sleep: REM and NREM: REM, Rapid Eye Movement is the stage we dream.
It is normal to have dreams in sleep but if your dreams are causing you more stress, you need to see a psychologist or someone who can help you identify your stressors and strategies to de-stress.

Now let me use a metaphor:
we eat food then we poo poo; we use our brain while awake, then we have dreams while asleep. It is elimination to maintain balance of mind. I know it sound yucky!
Don't worry if you have nightmares because trust me after a day or two, you forget everything!
