one month is no big deal. u can't legally work for other companies anyway. but I don't like the fact that they try to cut ur salary $1250, it's such a small amount of money to a firm. very un-decent. I think you should talk to ur future supervisor, express your desire and excitement to start the job, but kinda a bit upset about this. U should stick to whatever number was agreed upon.
