Yesterday, my good friend had her wedding. Everything went perfectly, except one thing. She forgot to include two persons' name on the reception list. These two person are bf and gf. The girl is bride's labmate. They are both americans. After they couldn't find their name on the list, they came to me since I was helping the bride to arrange the reception place. I asked them to check the list again, and went to find another guy to see how we can add two persons on. However, after we figured out the plan, we found these two person left. We asked their american friends to ask them back, but they didn't want to come back.

I felt so bad about it. I didn't realize that it would be such a big deal to them. Otherwise I should have let them sit in my place first and then think about other things. Although the couple (bride and groom) won't blame me for it, I still feel I should be partially responsible for it. Sigh...

That is why I have the idea about this survey, just to see whether you would still stay at the wedding if your name is forgotten to put on the reception list?

To me, I won't care about it at all. I think there are tons of things for the couple to prepare a wedding, so such a mistake is forgiveable.
