There are a lot of activities around here to meet
interesting people! :)

If you like computer stuff you can go to "User Groups",
If you like artsy subject you can go to poetry readings,
open mic karaoke, pottery class, yoga class...
If you like nature and sports you can join hiking groups,
volleyball leagues, or even autocross and drag-racing.

My former boss used to go to this "writer's group" in an
art center, it sounds very fun but I was afraid that the
so-called writers can be quite snobbish. :) The only thing
I wouldn't recommend is to join those church meetings,
for some people faith is a touchy subject and it'd be quite
hard for non-believers to communicate with them...
